On February 5-6, 2020, the “Bridging Indigenous Knowledge with the Latest Information on Commercial Tobacco” Conference will take place at the Canad Inns Destination Centre Club Regent Hotel in Winnipeg.
Interested individuals or groups are invited to complete submissions to present on topics related to:
- commercial tobacco
- traditional tobacco teachings
- smoking cessation
Topics can also include other areas of health as they relate to tobacco or vaping (e.g. mental health, pregnancy, diabetes and others). Subsidies covering travel expenses for selected presenters are available to applicants upon request.
