The Keewatinohk Inniniw Minoayawin Inc. invites you to apply for a unique and ground-breaking opportunity to advance the health care of First Nation peoples in northern Manitoba. The successful candidate will employ their skills in enhancing the CEO’s productivity through a proactive approach to workload improvement and effective management of day-to-day administrative responsibilities. Thus, allowing the CEO to maximize their time on high-priority projects. The successful candidate will be part of an innovative team tasked with addressing widely known and community identified gaps in health and wellness services.

Transformation of health care systems to meet the health and healing needs of First Nation communities will set the standard of care in the domains of equity and equality. As well, this work will focus on upstream preventative measures to support the health and wellbeing of our First Nations citizens with a focus on women, children and families.

All work will be carried out in a manner that is consistent with First Nations cultures and values

The role requires a certificate program in business application or office administration a combination of education and direct work experience in administrative capacity will be considered. A minimum of five (5) years of related experience and experience working directly with senior management. Must have advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe XI Pro).

The successful candidate will possess strong communications skills with an ability to synthesize and summarize, verbally and in writing. Must be action oriented, demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate business professionalism. Must also have strong planning and organization skills.
