The First Nations Health and Social Secretariat of Manitoba (FNHSSM) is holding Regional Community Engagement Sessions with key First Nation, Tribal Council and Treaty Organization contacts regarding a First Nations Long-Term Care Strategy.

FNHSSM has planned an Engagement Gathering for the KTC/Thompson region next week:

  • WHERE: The Ma-Mow-We-Tak Friendship Centre
  • WHEN: Wednesday, August 31st and Thursday, September 1st, 2022

They are seeking input on a First Nations Long-term Care Strategy from local health and social service providers designated by communities and representatives from Tribal Councils/Treaty Orgs. People FNHSSM would like to attend and hear from:

  • Home and Community Care
  • Health Directors
  • Elders
  • Knowledge Keepers
  • Tribal Council staff
  • Treaty Organization staff
