The Team Grants in Diabetes Prevention and Treatment in Indigenous Communities: Resilience and Wellness will support Indigenous-led and community-driven research that aims to reverse the upward trajectory of diabetes and associated co-morbidities (e.g. cardiometabolic disease) among First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples and their communities.
