Grand Chief Settee was honoured to participate in the inauguration of Chief
Heidi Cook and Counsellors Annie Ballantyne, Yvonne Ballantyne and Tyler Lavallee on August 18, 2020, along with a tribute to former Chief Harold Turner and Councillor William “Lum” Ferland.
Chief Cook and each of the Council members has signed the Oath of Office to serve for the community of Misipawistik Cree Nation.

Former Chief Turner was an integral part of the leadership in MKO territory as an executive and various roles in Chiefs portfolio.
Former Councillor Ferland served for over 20 years and always lobbied for the betterment of his community.
