MKO is hosting a Chiefs Assembly, “Leading the Way on Transformative Change,” from November 16-18, 2021.
Leaders will gather at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg to discuss a wide variety of topics, including child welfare, justice, policing, health, anti-Indigenous racism, harm reduction, COVID-19 and vaccines, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two Spirit and Gender-Diverse people.
There will be a variety of guests in attendance, including Chief Cadmus Delorme of the Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan, who will share about the Miyo Pimatisowin Act.
Space at this event is limited. All participants must be double-vaccinated and adhere to public health measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. You can tune into the event via a livestream on our MKO Facebook page.
