October 4th, is the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQ+ people.
We Honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse+ people, support grieving families, and create opportunities for healing.
Thousands of our Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada have been murdered, gone missing and never found, and more go missing everyday.
We add our voice to the collective call to bring an end to the injustices suffered by Canada’s Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQ+ people.
We celebrate their lives, we remember them so that we may remember who they were as our loved ones before they were taken and also keep their families and loved ones in our hearts and remind ourselves why we must continue to address this ongoing crisis.
Let this day be a reminder that we must all focus on this serious issue every day of the year.
