The National Gathering of Elders is taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from September 9 to 12, 2019. First Nations, Inuit, and Metis Elders of Canada will come together as advisors, teachers, and leaders to discuss topics like reconciliation, missing and murdered Indigenous peoples, climate change, and more. There will also be a concert, talent show, social dance, and more.
