The MKO Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Liaison Unit is hosting a Traditional Medicine Workshop on September 5 and 6, 2019, in Winnipeg.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- Individuals in Manitoba who are impacted by the tragedy of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls
- Attendees include MMIWG family members, survivors, 2SLGBTQQIA, and service providers
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Land-based therapy rooted in traditional Indigenous knowledge
- Identifying traditional medicines and how to use them
