The MKO Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Liaison Unit is hosting a Traditional Medicine Workshop on September 5 and 6, 2019, in Winnipeg.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Individuals in Manitoba who are impacted by the tragedy of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls
  • Attendees include MMIWG family members, survivors, 2SLGBTQQIA, and service providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Land-based therapy rooted in traditional Indigenous knowledge
  2. Identifying traditional medicines and how to use them
