MKO Community Crisis Response Toolkit
This toolkit provides communities with a quick reference and guide when responding to crisis in their communities. It provides steps and guidelines to follow if your community faces a crisis and you don’t already have an established crisis response team of your own. The toolkit provides information on:
- What to do within the first 2 to 8 hours of a crisis
- How to create messaging for the media
- Common reactions to trauma
- Responding to trauma
- What to do if there is a missing person in your community
- Breathing exercises

A Toolkit for Understanding and Activating Your MKO Mobile Crisis Team 
This is a user-guide for community workers in First Nations who don’t know much about the team. This toolkit provides information on:
- When to call the Mobile Crisis Team
- A checklist for community workers
- Who the crisis team is, what they will do, and what they will ensure in their work with you
- How to activate the MKO Mobile Crisis Response Team
- What happens when the team leaves your community
