Pride flags are flown across the country as a celebration of diversity and a visual symbol of inclusion and safety for those who are part of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community.

We need your help to create a flag that represents the Two-Spirit and gender diverse community within the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO) territory. This is an important step in creating inclusion, representation, and dialogue for the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community in the north. This flag will be honoured alongside all other flags used during MKO assemblies and gatherings.

A $1000 prize will be awarded to the winning pride flag design!

Submissions are due 11:00PM CST on July 14th, 2021.

We encourage everyone, particularly our youth, to submit their artwork envisioning a flag that represents our 2SLGBTQQIA+ community in the north.
