The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Liaison Unit was selected as one of the recipients of the proceeds raised at the Pay It Backward Foundation Golf Tournament.

It was truly an honour to receive the generous donation of $5,000. The donation will be used to help build a monument to honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two Spirit and gender diverse people in northern Manitoba. The site will be a place of honouring and remembering.

We are thankful for the partnerships of allies and the generosity of community members.

Jenny and Hilda had an amazing day volunteering at the golf tournament and sharing with allies the important work the Unit is doing.

Background

Contributing to Worthy Causes

Through its diverse community outreach and partnership initiatives, The Pay It Backward Foundation looks to both inspire others to give like there’s no tomorrow, as well as contribute to causes directly. However the challenge is presented, we are committed to bringing aid to the communities of the poor, the abused and neglected. When we recognize needs that align with our mission, we are eager to embrace them. We are diligent in funding initiatives and programs that have a clear focus on positive outcomes, and we relish the journey and new bonds of friendship created along the way.
